Educational Equity Achievers Recognized

Educational Equity Achievers Recognized

            Dorchester County Public Schools Educational Equity Task Force, working with district church partners Hurlock United Methodist Church and Zion Baptist Church in Cambridge, has recognized minority students for their accomplishments during the 2020-2021 school year.  Celebrations were held at the churches over two evenings and those selected were invited to attend.

            Principals were asked to nominate students based on four areas of school life:  improvement in academics and/or behavior; attendance; good citizenship; and participation.  The following were nominated as Educational Equity Achievers:
