Career and Technical Education Awareness Night March 5th


The Educational Equity Task Force of Dorchester County Public Schools is organizing a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Awareness Night on Thursday, March 5th from 5:30 to 7:30. It will be held at the Dorchester Career and Technology Center at 2465 Cambridge Beltway, next to Cambridge-South Dorchester High School.

The goal of the evening is to raise awareness of the many advantages of CTE programs, and students of any age, their parents, and the community are invited to attend. Each of the CTE programs will hold information sessions every 15 minutes and representatives will be on hand to answer questions. Programs include: Automotive Technology; Teacher Academy of Maryland; IT Networking Academy/CISCO/Cybersecurity; Cosmetology; Carpentry; Medical Services; Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness/Criminal Justice; Interactive Media Production; Collision Repair and Refinishing; Electricity; Welding; Construction Design and Management; Medium and Heavy Truck Repair; HVAC; CASE/Agriscience; Masonry; and Culinary Arts.
